WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: Today we will be be practicing techniques in Photoshop using the Brush and Paint Bucket Tools. We will be learning how to use these tools to create abstract artworks using lines.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: We are starting to build up our fundamental art skills. Understanding how to use the elements and principles of art will give us a shared language broaden our ability to create in all our projects going forward.
HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED: You will follow along with instruction as straight line techniques are demonstrated and then you will create your own abstract art work.

By holding down the shift button while you draw with your brush tool you can create perfectly straight lines that are horizontal or vertical.

The paint bucket tool might be hiding on your tool bar. If you don't see it, look for the icon for the GRADIENT TOOL, and right click on it.
