Today's class - Color and Shape in Photoshop

WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: Today we will be working with two more elements of art - color and shape, while practicing with Adobe Color, the shape tool, the move tool, and the transform technique.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: We are starting to build up our fundamental art skills. Understanding how to use the elements and principles of art will give us a shared language broaden our ability to create in all our projects going forward.

HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED: You will work on and then turn in your color and shape document in Photoshop.

What are the elements of art?

The Elements of Art are the building blocks that make up all artwork, whether it's painting, sculpture, fashion design, or architecture.

Today we'll start thinking about how color appear different in the presence of other colors.

Using a Color Palette Generator, we will explore what combinations of colors we find pleasing and learn about color harmonies, or combinations of color that look good together based on their position in a color wheel
